We all feel rubbish sometimes. There are times when you just want to pull the covers over your head and stay in bed. Sometimes that helps, but not always. Those times when it doesn’t, it can be helpful to talk to someone else. RFSL Rådgivningen Skåne offers counselling to people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or trans or have someone in their family, a partner or a close friend who is. People can’t always put their finger on the problem or work out how to define themselves. That’s OK. Come and see us and we can talk about it.
The people who work here are all counsellors with several years of experience of counselling and of living and working as LGBT. We offer professional contact, therapeutic counselling, support and trauma counselling. We work with individuals, couples and groups. All who work here are bound to secrecy.
Here are some of the topics that come up in our counselling sessions:
Who am I? I’m worried… ANXIETY! They discriminated against me… my mum killed herself… As a child I was always… My partner hits me… I’m excluded, they won’t let me in. My partner doesn’t understand me…. Can I insist on safer sex? Is sex supposed to hurt? It doesn’t feel right… Why does he cry?
It’s always you who decides what the contact is going to be about. Phone us on 040-611 99 50 (phone line open Wednesdays 11-12) or send us an e-mail: email@example.com.
